Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Such a nice spot to have a pub; the views are amazing. The food was all homemade and very tasty. Not much to write home about with the kids meals, but that won't be a problem for most.
BE AWARE - It's cash only, so make sure you have it with you if you don't want a trek back and for the nearest cash point.
Lovely Sunday lunch, good service.
Pleasant staff. Reasonably priced.
Beautiful views.
One negative, tables too close together from other customers.
Would recommend.
Absolutely fantastic meals and definitely value for money the staff couldn't of been anymore helpful nothing was too much trouble and so friendly we went as a party of 6 and all enjoyed our meals will definitely be returning
Havnt been there for 26 years . But my family and myself booked last Friday and wow . What a meal just like it was back all those years. So it's a must to book and go there and try those delicious meals . Staff are so helpful and always smiling and the owner still has what it take to run a pup food meal. Thanks for your welcome. Wish you the best and see you very soon again
Went up here for food for a birthday the service was absolutely disgusting. Soon as we went walked in their faces dropped, couldn't sit upstairs as my dad is disabled so sat in the bar people faces were awful. Not made to feel welcome at all. Spent £170 on food that's without drinks. During the meal all we had was stares. Didn't like the kids in there at all, told our table was until 7.30, everything was a rush.
Need to sort out their customer service skills out, how these places survive is beyond me. Won't be going back here in a hurry. Joke!!!!
Food was very mediocre.
Bisto gravy that left a film in all of our mouths, veg was undercooked and still hard, nothing seemed fresh.
Was left standing by the door for 15 minutes before they told us where our table was.
Informed us 5 minutes before closing that they shut at 3pm on a Sunday after leaving us sat there for over 30 mins waiting for them to take our dessert order.
All of that and the parking situation, definitely will not be visiting again and wouldn't reccomend
Excellent food, great friendly staff. Reasonably priced food and drinks. Great location with stunning views. Highly recommend.
Sunday lunch was lovely. Had the beef, Then apple and blackberry crumble. Excellent. Nice views over the valley.

Quick Facts About The Church Inn Mynyddislwyn

The Church Inn in Mynyddislwyn has received a mix of positive and negative comments from its customers. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of this place, we will analyze each comment individually and discuss the overall implications.
Starting with the positive comments, several customers praised the location and views of The Church Inn. This suggests that the pub is situated in a charming area with beautiful surroundings. The stunning views could be seen as a major selling point for the establishment, attracting customers who enjoy a picturesque setting.
Another strength highlighted by the comments is the quality of the food. Multiple reviewers mentioned that the meals at The Church Inn were homemade and delicious. This indicates that the pub takes pride in its culinary offerings and successfully delivers tasty dishes to its customers. This is likely to contribute to a positive dining experience and could be a significant draw for patrons.
The Sunday lunch in particular received positive feedback, with one customer describing it as "lovely" and praising the beef and apple and blackberry crumble. This indicates that the pub excels in providing traditional British meals, and customers can expect a satisfying dining experience during Sunday lunch service.
The pricing was also mentioned as a positive aspect of The Church Inn. Several reviewers commented that the food and drinks were reasonably priced, suggesting that the establishment offers good value for money. This is likely to be appealing to customers who are looking for an affordable dining experience without compromising on quality.
The comments also mention the amiability and helpfulness of the staff. This is an important strength as it contributes to the overall customer experience. Friendly and efficient staff can create a welcoming atmosphere and make customers feel valued and well taken care of.
On the other hand, there are some weaknesses highlighted by the negative comments. One of the major complaints is that The Church Inn is a cash-only establishment. Several customers mentioned this as an inconvenience and advised others to make sure they have cash with them. This could be a significant deterrent for customers who prefer to pay with card or who may not always carry cash.
Another common complaint is the issue of tables being too close together. This could affect the overall dining experience, as customers may feel cramped and lack privacy. The comments suggest that the proximity of the tables to other customers is not ideal, and it may be uncomfortable for some individuals.
Customer service is another area that receives criticism. One reviewer described the service as "absolutely disgusting" and felt unwelcome. This negative experience included feeling rushed during the meal, stares from the staff, and being informed of the closing time at the last minute. Poor customer service can greatly impact the overall impression of a place and discourage customers from returning or recommending it to others.
Some negative comments also mention issues with the quality of the food. Complaints include undercooked vegetables, a Bisto gravy that left a film in customers' mouths, and a lack of freshness in the ingredients. These comments suggest that there may be inconsistencies in the food preparation and that some customers were disappointed with the overall taste and quality of their meals.
Lastly, the parking situation was brought up as a negative aspect. While the exact details are not provided, it can be inferred that there may be limited parking available or difficulties in finding a parking spot near the pub. This can be inconvenient for customers who are driving to the establishment.
In conclusion, The Church Inn in Mynyddislwyn has a number of strengths such as beautiful views, homemade and tasty food, reasonable pricing, and pleasant staff. However, there are also some weaknesses including the cash-only policy, tables being too close together, inconsistent customer service, potential issues with food quality, and parking difficulties. It is important for the establishment to address these weaknesses in order to improve the overall customer experience and attract more patrons.
