A lovely breakfast with 2 of my grandsons. Service was quick and efficient even though it was quite busy. Food was delicious. Staff were welcoming and willing to cater for the needs of customers. An enjoyable experience. Wishing all the staff a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
edit: down from 4* to 1*, two days later and definitely have some form of food poisoning from this place. really not having a good time right now with the side effects and it sucks because the food was quite yummy.
went in today for a quick bite to eat before an appointment and the food was honestly really good and the portions were well big. unfortunately didn't agree with my tummy too much after a few hours and felt a good bit ill the next few hours and the first fork i noticed in the cutlery holder was dirty with old food, but little things like that happen at times and the rest of the place seemed quite clean so not bothered too much :)
Good food the only thing I would say is on entering the premises we went to a table a member of staff asked about ordering first funny that others in front of us done the same thing every time you go in it's usually the same situation there should be a sign at counter saying order food before you take your seat something to be addressed I think
Nice coffe, but cake and scone both dry/stale, and customer service needs improvement. The official closing time is 5:30pm, we arrived at 4:40pm and were told they were closing early because they didn't have any customers. There were 3 groups of people wanting to be served, how can they pretend they have no customers? Grudgingly they let us have our coffee, but it took ages to arrive so we had to rush drinking it as they kicked us out at 5:10 anyway. Won't be back in a hurry.
Been here many times with my children as food is good and normally staff too.
Yesterday I was told twice there were no tables...not in a nice way..even though people were leaving every few minutes.
When I asked for our table to be cleared and cleaned before the food arrived, the staff member barely replied and was not pleasant at all.
We won't be back any more
Came in quite late and got a fry. It was really tasty. And even though I came in near closing time the staff was still happy to serve me.
Time for a good deep clean. Tables very dirty. Come on you can do better.
My daughter and me went in today and ordered the veg soup it was disgusting just flavored water with veg not a grain of barley or soup mix in sight ????
